June celebrates Pride Month and Juneteenth
AWPL Classic Monday: Some Like it Hot (1959) Billy Wilder’s crime comedy (inspired by the 1935 French film Fanfare of Love) stars Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. Set in the Prohibition era, the film is about two musicians (Curtis and Lemmon) who disguise themselves as women to escape Chicago mobsters they witnessed commit murder. Not Rated: 2 hours.
