Name: Karen Romano Young
Biographical Information: Karen Romano Young is an author, illustrator and deep-sea diver. She has published 25 books for children, including fiction, nonfiction, and comic-style work like her most recent, Doodlebug. Karen has traveled from the bottom of the ocean to the Arctic wilds to tell stories. Besides books, she is the creator of Humanimal Doodles, a comic series about people and animals that appears on the web and in the children’s magazines Muse and Odyssey.
