Join the acclaimed Diálogos Duo for a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of Brazil’s rich musical legacy. Their original works pay tribute to a century of iconic samba legends, including Noel Rosa, Ary Barroso, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Johnny Alf, Cartola, Chico Buarque, Sérgio Santos, and Toninho Horta.
Since forming in 2016, clarinetist Louis Arques and guitarist-composer Richard Boukas have created the world’s most extensive original Brazilian repertoire for their instruments. Blending the infectious rhythms of samba, choro, baião, frevo, maracatu, maxixe, and valsa with the sophistication of contemporary jazz and classical music, each piece honors a towering figure in Brazilian music history.
