Do you love reading science fiction and fantasy? So do we! The Library is starting a science fiction, fantasy, and horror discussion group open to teens and adults. We'll meet the first Wednesday of every month, starting October 6th, at 6:30 pm. Bring suggestions for books and short stories you would like to discuss. Grades 2-5. This program, presented by the Weis Ecology center, will feature two "hunter" of the sky owls and hawks. Learn about the habits and habitats of these magnificent animals. Registration begins Sept. 20 at the library.

Ages 18-36mos. Tuesdays Oct. 12-Nov.16. A program for 2 year old and a parent or guardian. Toddlers will be introduced to the world of books through stories, songs and fingerplays. Register at the library from Sept 20-30. Please have your library card at time of registration.

Ages 10-18mos. Wednesdays Oct.13-Nov.17 A special time to share with your pre-toddler. Together we will read stories, sing songs, do fingerplays and play! Register at the library Sept.20-30 at the library. Library card required.

For beginners only in grades 2-5. Wednesday nights Oct 13-Nov. 17. Learn to play chess. Registration begins Sept. 20 at the library.

Ages 2-7. Drop in on Saturday mornings for stories, fingerplays, songs and a craft. No registration required.

Drop in on specified Saturday afternoons to see a literature based movie. Movie titles to be announced. No registration required.

Grades K-5. Bring a pumpkin to the KK library and decorate it with veggies. Registration begins at the library Sept. 20.

Community Blood Services Bloodmobile will be parked in the AWPL parking lot for a blood drive. Donors wil receive a special Edgar Allan Poe themed gift.

Share your thoughts and views about these famous tales of horror. Book discussion will be led by Mary Makofske.
