Step into the Hudson Valley during the American Revolution with master storyteller Jonathan Kruk. This lively, family-friendly performance brings “those trying times” to life with tales of Yankee Doodle’s origins, battles in the Hudson Highlands and Stony Point, the New York teen who outraced Paul Revere, the Great Chain, the Scourge of the Ramapos, and Washington’s spectacles—plus live music by Steve Kelman.

Known for dynamic performances of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and A Christmas Carol, Kruk has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning, Today, and The Travel Channel. A recipient of Citizenship Medals from the Daughters of the American Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution, he is also the author of books on local lore and award-winning recordings.
