Albert Wisner Public Library's Policy for Use of Meeting Rooms, which includes procedures and a fee schedule, affirms the American Library Association’s "Library Bill of Rights Concerning Meeting Rooms,”:

As an institution of education for democratic living, the Library should welcome the use of its meeting rooms, for socially useful and cultural activities. Such meeting places should be available on equal terms to all not-for-profit groups in the community regardless of the beliefs and affiliations of their members, provided that the meetings be open to the public.

AS OF MARCH 16, 2020, ROOM RESERVATIONS AND RENTALS ARE NOT BEING ACCEPTED BECAUSE OF COVID PRECAUTIONS.

Drop-in use of the Board Room and Community Room is available on a first-come, first-served basis for a maximum of 2 hours when the room is not being used for a Library program.  Capacity is limited to 30 in the Community Room and 6 in the Board Room.  Please inquire at the Help Desk if you would like to use one of the rooms.
