In 1889 there was a monthly newspaper printed in Bellvale called the "Bellvale Rising Star", twelve small issues full of information about who lived here, their family history and events that happened in the hamlet. This site is based on that newspaper. It is not a "documented" site. I try to keep it as accurate as possible but since it is all compiled information it has mistakes. I hope you will find them and let me know so I can try and correct them. This is my place to put together what I find and share it with you. I have a scanner and a digtal camera so if you would like to share something about Bellvale let me know!
