Echo Pond Inn

This inn was established by the Cohen family about 1949/50 along Lower Wisner Road. Mr. and Mrs. Cohen operated it for about 3 to 4 years after which Mrs. Cohen died. Mr. Cohen continued managing it for a quite number of years and then sold it. It was renamed the Alpha One but did not last long and burned down a few years later. A family purchased the property and had a house built on the former site of the inn. At present it is sill a residential home.
