Allison Petrus-Wilkins leads a book discussion of "Dancing Through It" by Jenifer Ringer.
This class is designed for beginning musicians and music fans who wish to understand the components of music and how these components work. The basics of chords and chord progression, melody and harmony will be discussed. Pace and direction is set, in part, by student background and interest. You do not need a knowledge of music - only a desire to learn! This class will meet for four consecutive Wednesdays; attendance at all classes is strongly recommended.

Learn to fold an origami crane and help us in our quest to create 1,000 cranes to send to the Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima, Japan. While folding the cranes, tap your toes to tthe Classic Rock sounds of Uncle Shoehorn. Snacks and beverages will be served.
Have fun learning the basic swing dance step to the big band music of the 1940s. You will learn both leader and follower techniques as well as some cool steps. No partner necessary. Refreshements will be served "USO" style!
