In honor of Native American Heritage Month: Windtalkers (2002): Stars Nicolas Cage, Adam Beach, Peter Stormare, Noah Emmerich and Christian Slater. During WWII, two marines are assigned to protect Navajo radiomen, who encode military messages in their native language. Rated R:  2 hours, 14 minutes.

Do you love to read, want to jump inside a good story and like to solve mysteries? If so, read The Bookwanderers then let’s talk about it while we enjoy a book related treat.  All participants will receive a free, new book from our new book collection.  Ages 8 - 11

Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjong enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjong sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

Our favorite therapy dogs will back this Fall to hear you read a book. If you can't yet read, a caregiver can read to you and the dog!
