Local historian Sue Gardner coordinates an informal sharing of some historic local Black family heritage and lore. Attendees are encourage to share their own family's history and treasured stories of ancestors, "show and tell" family photos and heirloom items are also welcome.

Michael Apted’s biopic follows the story of country music singer Loretta Lynn from her early teen years in a poor family to her rise as one of the most influential country musicians.
