    Colleen, a resilient ex-con, immigrant and survivor of domestic violence, invites Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy, Lady Bird Johnson and Mary Todd Lincoln into her sewing shop! Mysteries and secrets are unveiled – hers and theirs – and with the help of these courageous women, Colleen wrestles insurmountable obstacles into extraordinary possibilities – in the most surprising situations!
     
    In this one-woman show, performed by Ginger Grace, and told through the eyes of Colleen, we encapsulate the history of our country and the invaluable impact of these four First Ladies as they spoke out, changing the course of events. They were forerunners – paving the way for our current wave of women in politics and social justice.

    Where the Crawdads Sing (2022) based on Delia Owens’ 2018 novel; Daisy Edgar-Jones leads the cast featuring Taylor John Smith, Harris Dickinson, Michael Hyatt, Sterling Macer Jr., Jojo Regina, Garret Dillahunt, Ahna O'Reilly, and David Strathairn. The story follows an abandoned yet defiant girl, Kya, who raises herself to adulthood in a North Carolina marshland, becoming a naturalist in the process. When the town's hotshot is found dead, she is the prime suspect and tried for murder.  Rated PG-13; 2 hours, 5 minutes.

    Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjong enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjong sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.
