A Man Called Otto (2022) Fall in love with the grumpiest man in America. Adapted from Fredrik Backman’s bestselling novel, A Man Called Ove (2012), and an Americanized version of the 2015 Swedish film, it stars Tom Hanks as Otto, an ill-tempered, isolated retiree and widower, who has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbors. Rated PG-13: 2 hours 6 minutes.

Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjongg enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjongg sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

Spend some time in the Children's Room workshop making things to help a charity or member of our community.  We supply the parts, you construct with love.  Ages 3 and up w/caregiver.

Earn volunteer credit and help us prepare for the 2023 Warwick Children's Book Festival. We'll be making thank you cards and gifts for our visiting authors, buttons for the event, and more.

Create cover art that will be professionally printed by Warwick Press to create your personal spiral bound notebook. Discuss how art can be used as surface design for commercial products. Examples will be shown. Grades 4-7.
