Join Laurie Byro and the Circle of Voices Poetry Group for a discussion of "The Big Six."
The Romantic Movement validated intense emotion as an authentic source of aesthetic experience, placing new emphasis on such emotions as apprehension, horror and terror, and awe. In English literature, the key figures of the Romantic Movement are considered to be the group of poets which is known as “Big Six”. In this group the poets are William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, John Keats, Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley and William Blake.
