Zumba that can be done by everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. This program will be held in person, outside on the River Birch Patio at the back of the building
Instructor Jessica Rose Duggins has been a ZIN member since Aug 2019 and absolutely loves teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: every class feels like a party! She is ready to get you moving, sweating, and feeling unstoppable. Jessica is currently licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Kids & Kids Jr.
Please dress to sweat and bring your own water bottle if you would like.
Please register for each session individually. If it is raining, the class is cancelled, not moved indoors.

People view classical music the same way they view kale - they know it's good for them, but still won't eat any. We know the wonderful word of classical music is out there, but are still searching for the recipe that will make it palatable. There is no better composer to bring new listeners to the magnificent world of symphonic music than George Gershwin. He wrote funny and timeless show tunes such as “You say Ee-ther and I say Eye-ther,” but also the opera ``Porgy and Bess.” He wrote adorable symphonic miniatures such as “Walking the Dog'' but also the iconic “Rhapsody in Blue”
Musician and educator, Ken Korn blends both live and recorded performances of Gershwin's fun and easy to digest music, but also introduces participants to his more substantial compositions as well. Gershwin did not compose his show tunes to a lower standard than his symphonic music. Come learn how the same level of sophistication and brilliance found in his ‘Concerto in F’ is also found in ‘Fidgety Feet.’ Likewise the wit and humor of his show tunes permeates his concert works as well.
