A monthly informal hand sewing circle lead by Cindy Hopper of Sewcology. Bring your own projects/materials to work on. Attendees can learn hand-sewing techniques and stitches for clothing construction and repair (not embroidery). Join Dr. Daniel Tomlinson for a discussion of shoulder injuries, bursitis, and shoulder replacement.
Dr. Tomlinson attended Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He completed an Internship and a Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Dr. Tomlinson has completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, N.Y. He has gained expertise in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. He also has experience in advanced hip arthroscopy for many disorders, including labral tears and femoro-acetabular impingement. He is an affiliated team physician with the New York Mets Major League Baseball team and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
