Join the Library's new Walking with Books walking group. Join other walkers every Saturday morning for a stroll around the Library grounds and adjacent areas. Group will meet outside the Library near the front door.
Calling all the young and young at heart to Stanley-Deming Park (3rd St. and Parkway) for the Warwick Children's Book Festival. Dozens of distinguished authors and illustrators of books for children will be on hand to autograph their books (for purchase on site) and talk with their readers. Free admission. Free concert for children by The Uncle Brothers at 12:00. Therapy dogs will be on hand to listen to children read their new books aloud. This is a special opportunity to leave screens behind and engage with the printed word and all who make childhood reading such a wonderful experience. Stanley-Deming Park is safe and family-friendly, offering an accessible playground, restrooms and plenty of (fenced) space to play.

The Festival is presented by Albert Wisner Public Library, and sponsored principally by Library benefactors Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes. The Village of Warwick, ShopRite of Warwick and the Warwick Valley Farmers' Market also support the Festival.

Join this 8 week sound meditation program to quiet your mind and learn to switch off the external noises and connect with your inner self. Please register for each individual class.
Shrinky Dinks: On a specially treated surface design, color, cut and bake (we'll do the baking) your own 2-D art to make a decoration for your backpack, refrigerator magnet or piece of jewelry. Ages 9-12. Register online beginning Sept. 11.
