Warwick native Danny Prial was a soldier, a West Point graduate, a New York National Guard pilot, a brother, a friend, an athlete, and a son. His life ended tragically in January 2021 in a helicopter crash during a military training exercise in upstate New York. The Fullest Measure: A Story of Courage, Loss, and a Mother’s Love by Anne Leavy-Prial is a unique telling of Danny’s life, his connections, his friendships, and his unbelievable legacy. Written by his mother, mixed in with real letters from friends, coaches, family, and fellow veterans, The Fullest Measure is an inspirational and at times gut-wrenching remembrance of a heroic young man taken from us far too soon.
