SUMMARY:Kombucha Paper Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Discover the art of sustainable creativity! Learn how to make b
 eautiful\, eco-friendly paper using kombucha SCOBYs. In this hands-on work
 shop led by Nikki Romanello\, you’ll explore how fermented cellulose can
  be transformed into unique\, leather-like sheets perfect for art\, journa
 ling\, or craft projects. No experience necessary—all materials provided
 .\n\n\n\nNikki Romanello has long been inspired by the natural world. She 
 earned her BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture with a concentration in Phot
 ography from the Maryland Institute College of Art\, where she developed a
  passion for metal sculpture\, and later completed her MFA in Sculpture at
  Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Nikki has worked with institutions such as t
 he Baltimore Museum of Art\, New Arts Foundry\, and the University of Mary
 land Iron Pour\, as well as artists Will Ryman and Robert Lazzarini. A for
 mer artist-in-residence at Hot Wood Art Center\, she has exhibited her wor
 k in a solo Bio Art show at the University Science Center in Philadelphia.
  Currently\, she teaches art and science at Brooklyn Brainery and Genspace
