DESCRIPTION:Discover practical strategies for finding your 19th–20th cent
 ury immigrant ancestors in U.S. records. In this session\, we’ll cover w
 hich records matter most\, where to find them (online and in archives)\, a
 nd how to connect your relatives back to their country of origin.\n\n\nMat
 thew Rhodes was born and raised in New Jersey to an Italian American mothe
 r and Irish American father\, with both heritages shaping his early life a
 nd sparking his interest in the ancestors who immigrated to the United Sta
 tes. He is currently the lead genealogy manager at an Italian dual-citizen
 ship company\, where he oversees and conducts research for clients\, deter
 mines their eligibility\, and obtains the records needed for their cases. 
 Matthew's professional education includes the Boston University Genealogi
 cal Certificate Course\, ProGen and additional institute courses and webin
 ars through GRIP and other organizations.
