 -Newark\, after earning multiple degrees from the Martin Scorsese Departme
 nt of Cinema Studies at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He
  is a frequent film lecturer at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantvil
 le\, NY.
