DESCRIPTION:Featuring Ann Carter-Cox (singer and harpist) and Penny McCullo
 ch (harpist)\nAnn Carter-Cox presents a program of original compositions a
 nd arrangements\, including settings of poems by A.E. Housman\, Eugene Fie
 ld\, Emily Pauline Johnson\, and 17th-century English poets. The concert a
 lso features traditional songs from England and the Southern Appalachian M
 ountains.\nPraised by The New York Times for her storytelling through song
 \, Ann is a seasoned performer with degrees from the Cincinnati College-Co
 nservatory of Music and Sarah Lawrence College. Her career spans concerts 
 across the eastern U.S.\, choral conducting\, and recent work as a compose
 r for harp and voice. She is joined by Penny McCulloch\, a well-known New 
 Jersey harpist with over 40 years of performance experience. Penny has pla
 yed extensively at events and venues across the region and studied under s
 everal notable harpists. Together\, they offer a compelling evening of mus
