 er the guidance of dance master Niel V. De Marino\, you'll learn the grace
 ful steps and lively group dances that lit up ballrooms and garden parties
  centuries ago.\n\n\n\nNiel V. De Marino began dancing at an early age\, f
 irst in classical styles and later as a teacher of Irish dance in New York
  City. A passion for history led him to become a Revolutionary War re-enac
 tor and living historian\, demonstrating 18th-century life through cooking
 \, tailoring\, dance\, and social graces. He appeared in PBS’s The Ameri
 can Experience films John &amp\; Abigail Adams and Alexander Hamilton. Sin
 ce 2007\, he has performed in numerous Amherst Early Music Festival produc
 tions\, including works by Cavalli\, Conradi\, Purcell\, Scarlatti\, and T
 elemann. In 2003\, he co-founded In Good Company\, a period dance troupe p
 resenting 18th-century and Regency dances in authentic costume. Niel has t
 aught Baroque and country dance and studied with Dorrie Olsson\, Kaspar Ma
 inz\, Amherst Early Music Festival\, and The New York Baroque Dance Compan
 y.
