An average guy makes a resolution to stop using plastic shopping bags from the grocery store. Little does he know that this simple decision will change his life completely. He comes to the conclusion that our use of plastic has finally caught up to us and considers what we can do about it.
Lively discussion will follow the film; all are welcome.

Photographer and author Francesco Mastalia will discuss his new book, ORGANIC: Farmers and Chefs of the Hudson Valley. It features dedicated farmers committed to growing and producing food using sustainable methods, and chefs who echo their beliefs and pay homage to the food they produce. The portraits were photographed using the wet plate collodion process, a technique developed in the mid-19th century when photography was in its infancy.

Do you have a favorite poem? One you read as a child, in high school, in college or perhaps yesterday. Come and share it with us. All ages are encouraged to participate. There is only one rule: that the poems read are not poems the readers or their friends have written. We ask that you choose poems that are written by poets like Walt Whitman; Emily Dickinson, Langston Hughes, William Carlos Williams, etc. Every reader is allotted five minutes to read and give a brief reason why that poem was chosen.
