This class is designed for beginning musicians and music fans who wish to understand the components of music and how these components work. The basics of chords and chord progression, melody and harmony will be discussed. Pace and direction is set, in part, by student background and interest. You do not need a knowledge of music - only a desire to learn! This class will meet for four consecutive Wednesdays; attendance at all classes is strongly recommended.

Family Night: Origami Crane Project and Musical Entertainment

Learn to fold an origami crane and help us in our quest to create 1,000 cranes to send to the Children's Peace Monument in Hiroshima, Japan. While folding the cranes, tap your toes to tthe Classic Rock sounds of Uncle Shoehorn. Snacks and beverages will be served.

Dance Your Bobby Socks Off!

Join us for a night of music by The Jazz Pioneers along with dancing, food and beverages - just like the USO Canteens held during World War II. Come dressed in your 1940s finery or in military uniform! There will be prizes, too!
This program will be held at the the Senior Center in Montgomery, NY. The address there is: 36 Bridge Street, Montgomery, New York 12549.
