AWPL Foundation College Scholarship
The Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of its 2008 college scholarship essay competition. The topic of this year's essay was the role of a public library in an increasingly digitized and global society. Amy Connors and William Hutchison, both seniors at Warwick Valley High School, wrote the winning essays. Links to both essays appear below. Amy, who is bound for Tufts University in Boston, MA this fall, is considering majoring in psychology. Will plans to pursue a degree in chemical engineering when he matriculates at Yale College in New Haven, CT. Congratulations, and best of luck in college to Amy and Will!
