Are you looking to have more compassion in your life? To strengthen your communication with others? Share deeper and more meaningful connections? Join us for an introduction to Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a new generation of human connection and peacemaking skills that’s changing the way we think about conflict, compassion and our future. Come learn about this transformative practice. Ideal for couples, families and anyone looking to improve their relationships within themselves and with others. This interactive introduction will cover basic concepts and practices and will include open Q&A segments, as well as an experiential exercise.
This workshop will be led by Antonio Espinoza. Antonio was introduced to NVC in 2011 while farming in Maui. He was very inspired by it and decided to take part in NYCNVC's curriculum; he is a facilitator and trainer with the New York Center for Nonviolent Communication. Antonio's communication and outreach work has played a major role in our mission of sharing NVC around the world. He is currently the coordinator for First Mondays, Discovery Weekends and the Compassion Course Online.Location:AWPL Community RoomAge Group:Adult
