Introducing AWPL Makers, an opportunity for software and hardware makers to connect, share ideas and build great things together!
This time we will do a short demo of MIT's app inventor for android devices. There is a sample app that will work with the Edison and the temperature sensor to make a simple remote thermometer app using a couple of canned graphics. A couple of sensors are available online so you only have to bring a laptop. The app inventor can use your existing google login. Check it out at: http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu.
