Volunteer at the LibraryThe Library is blessed with teen and adult volunteers who lend hundreds of hours per month to help with a wide variety of library tasks.  Tasks that adult volunteers often handle include shelving, cleaning DVDs and CDs, re-covering books, and helping process new materials to prepare them for circulation.  Teen volunteers perform many of the same tasks, and also occasionally help with shifting and reorganizing materials, creating flyers for upcoming teen programs and straightening up shelves.

Teens interested in volunteering should fill out an application and speak with Karen Lee, who coordinates teen volunteers.  Karen may be reached at the Children's Desk at (845) 986-1047, ext. 4 or by emailing her at klee@rcls.org.

Adults who wish to volunteer at the Library should fill out an application at the Library, and call or stop by the Library to speak to Lenore Paulik, who coordinates adult volunteers.

Finally, only for residents of the Warwick Valley Central School District (the Library's service area) the Library may be able to accommodate court-ordered volunteer service.  Please speak with Laurie Angle or Allison Petrus-Wilkins at the Help Desk (845) 986-1047, ext. 3.
