Join Teen Advisory Board for a fun two hour walk through the Birnberg Preserve with Roger Flaum, a plant expert who is going to show us all kinds of edible and medicinal plants. Wear comfortable shoes and bug spray. Parents are welcome to attend!

Here are directions to the Preserve from Warwick. It takes around 19 minutes to get there.
  • Take King's Highway, heading toward Chester
  • After 11.3 miles, bear right onto Greycourt Road
  • The entrance/trailhead is located directly off the Heritage Trail. Visitors can park at the Camp Laguardia-Heritage Trail access parking area, located off of Greycourt Road in Chester, NY. Upon entry onto the Heritage Trail from the parking area, visitors should walk east (left) for approximately 8 minutes until arrival at the preserve’s entrance.
  • We will meet at the preserve's entrance at 10am.
