In this interactive and engaging workshop, participants will learn about biodiversity:  what it is and how to cultivate it in common spaces.  All participants will have the opportunity to learn about seed saving, increasing biodiversity through native planting and will walk away with seed bombs. If you’re interested in growing plants, playing in the dirt and learning about easy ways to make all the birds come to your yard, then this program is for you!  Presenter Kelly Collins is a longtime educator who has dedicated years in the public school system designing individual instruction to meet the needs of learners in the Hudson Valley. She brings that passion into her work designing earth-conscious edible landscapes for residential and community projects.  She has a Master's degree in Education, holds three certifications in Education, two in Permaculture Design and is currently working on a certification in Biodynamic Farming.
