A History of the Friends of the Albert Wisner Public Library

Founded in 1973, the Friends of the Library is an organization whose purpose is to support Warwick's Public Library and to raise awareness of the contributions the library makes to the community.

The Friends of the Library has been active again this year:

  • Summer Reading Program for All Ages
  • Bridge Marathons & Lessons
  • Kindergarten Library Card Sign-up
  • Plant Sale & Book Sales
  • Election of leadership for the FOL

Our Friends projects for this coming year are:

  • Kindergarten Library Card Sign-Up
  • Membership Drive
  • On-going Book Sale
  • Friends Gala and Silent Auction
  • Annual Plant Sale
  • Fund Raising for the New Library Building Fund

We need you to make any and all of these projects a success.

"Libraries are not made; they grow."- Augustine Birrell
