Dispatch Buillding / Location: 2 Oakland Avenue opposite Railroad Ave. / This three-story brick building was built to coincide with the opening of the Lehigh and Hudson River Railroad (1862) by M. F. Ten Eyck, and later purchased by T. S. DeKay, who sold it to T. R. Pelser in 1870. It operated as the Warwick Valley House and was later known as Ryerson's Hotel, prior to 1907. Since its purchase by George F.
