Location: Wisner road near railroad crossing. This historic stone bridge gave the hamlet its name. Replaced by newer bridge at unknown date. In later years, the hamlet name was changed to Wisner. Memoirs of Fred Cary Raynor state that is is because of delivery confusion between the railroad stations of Stonebridge and Stone Ridge. Source: Roecker collection.
