Girls walking at Sherwood Hall. According to local historian Miss Tate, on summer Saturday nights during the 1920's, wagon loads of "The Telephone Girls", as they were known, would come into Warwick Village. Some Village stores would stay open late Saturdays, such as the ice cream parlor.
